Hey, I’m Ian 👋, I’ve traveled to 37 countries, but somewhere along the way, Seoul became home.

My journey here actually started in Malaysia, where I met Minju while traveling. What started as a chance meeting turned into a relationship, and eventually brought me to South Korea. Now she’s my wife, and we’re living in Seoul and exploring the city together.

Wander Seoul is where I share the places I actually enjoy going, from hole-in-the-wall restaurants and late-night pochas to hidden bars, neighborhood spots, day trips, and the random discoveries that make living in Seoul so much fun.

I’m not here to give you the same Seoul checklist you’ll find everywhere else. I want to show you the places and experiences that are actually worth your time, whether you’re visiting for a few days or thinking about making Seoul home.
