About
Hi! I am Ian
In 2020, I took the plunge into solo travel, jetting off to Colombia, and oh boy, did that trip light a fire in me! I bid farewell to my desk job at a marketing agency and dove headfirst into freelance work, all to fuel my newfound wanderlust. First stop: Mexico. I danced my way through its vibrant streets for about 9 months, then hopped over to Guatemala for a quick two-month stint before teaming up with a buddy to explore Peru.
But my South American adventures were just the beginning! Europe beckoned, and I answered its call with a whirlwind tour through the UK, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, and Germany. Once I’d soaked up all the European charm I could handle, it was time to set my sights on Asia.
Back in my home state of Georgia, I ate Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisine, gearing up for my big journey across the globe. Bangkok was my gateway to a world of flavors, sights, and experiences, as I traversed Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. But it was in South Korea that I found my true travel love.
South Korea swept me off my feet with its tantalizing cuisine, sleek metro system, bustling nightlife, and endless array of activities. Seoul, in particular, felt like a perpetual party, with new adventures around every corner.
So, here I am, ready to share all of my favorite spots – the hidden gems and local haunts that stole my heart, alongside the love of my life, my girlfriend. This blog isn’t about cliché recommendations from travel guides; it’s about the real deal – the places that we truly love. So buckle up, folks, and get ready for a wild ride! Hope you’re as excited as we are! Check out my Korea travel blog. 🌍✈️
